Making a difference for the glory of God in Central and South America since 2010.
ABOUT
Eyes Wide Open is a Christ-centered ministry focused on lovingly serving the people of Guatemala and Brazil in many different ways. It is our hope to "keep our eyes open" to what God leads us to do.
Currently, we focus on forming relationships with pastors, teachers, hospital staff, police officers, youth and many others in the local communities to better share with them the love of Jesus.

We are very honoured to visit the National Hospital here in Chiquimula every Wednesday. We hear so many testimonies of people who are very glad to be visited. This hospital treats patients from vast distances, where some patients may never get a visit because of resources. Many give their lives to Christ, and that encourages us to keep going week after week.
Police Ministry
We have the incredible privledge of sharing with the police twice a week. Along with breaskfast, one of our team members gives a devotional to the officers. It is important for our ministry to instill Christ-like values, and remind them that Jesus is the only one who can help them carry the burden of police-work.
Water Ministry
Many communities don't have access to clean water, where locals have to resort to streams and rivers for cooking and drinking.
An essential part of the ministry-center facility is the water purification system, that provides clean drinking water to many in our community.
Iris to the Amazon
This book written by Megan McIntyre is about Iris, who is a missionary kid experiencing life in the Amazon Rainforest. With a move deeper into the jungle, her family was met with many challenges as they farmed jungle sheep and filtered rainwater in a small jungle town. Removed from a becomingly instantaneous world, Iris is seeing beautiful fruit that can only be found in Jesus. Iris to the Amazon consists of eight, non-fictional chapters correlating physical jungle seeds and their fruit, spiritual concepts, and Biblical truth. The first chapter begins with a powerful seed effecting every human’s life. As you read this book, you will see how you can play a large role in allowing good seed to grow in your own life by obedience to God’s Word. “As a child of the King, His very own seed, you are meant to grow a garden. What fruit will you give to Him and what will you feed the world?”
